I purchased two of these items. I installed the first one to use on a baseboard heater in my RV to prevent freezing temperatures. It stopped working after one night. The next day, I returned both of them for a refund. It would have been great if the product had worked properly.

This item really works great. I put it in my RV and hooked it up to a space heater. When it gets cold it comes on and keeps the RV from freezing and then turns off. Never got below 33 degrees. I can leave it and don't have to keep running out and turning the heater on and off. Saves a bunch of money because I would forget about the heater for a few days.

I have had this product for over 2 years to turn on my dog bowl heater and doghouse heater and it has worked to perfection.

I bought this product to protect two palms (in different areas of yard) from sub-30 degree temps. Only one of the units work, and that was a problem because you only find that out when the temperature drops so make sure to have a backup plan in case the outlet doesn't work.

I use thermo cubes in my pumphouse to keep pipes from freezing. works great
